Fiscal Policy
Fiscal policy is taxing, spending and borrowing by government. It reaches stocks through Treasury supply and yields, through the after-tax earnings of particular industries, and through contracts that make or break companies that sell to the government. None of these pages forecast a budget; they explain the mechanism.
